My work in higher education and the cultural sector focuses on supporting learning, research, and public engagement through thoughtful program design and collaboration. I’ve worked across student engagement, research support, events, and organisational operations, with a particular interest in place-based education and widening participation in regional contexts.
I’m motivated by work that helps ideas travel — between research and teaching, institutions and communities, and people and place.
What I work on
Area 1: Student Engagement & Widening Participation
Supporting students to navigate higher education, particularly in regional and non-traditional pathways. Resource development, mentoring, and outreach.
Area 2: Research & Program Support
Research development, academic events, fellowships, and public-facing programs that connect scholarship with broader audiences.
Area 3: Collaboration & Partnerships
Working across universities, cultural organisations, and community groups to design and deliver meaningful, place-based initiatives.
Selected Experience
– Student Success & Engagement Mentor, Barossa Regional University Campus
– Operations / Programs coordination within the historical and cultural sector
– Lead coordinator for History Week flagship events, including the Annual History Lecture and HCNSW Awards
– Teaching support and coordination in Australian and environmental history
How I work
I’m particularly interested in work that sits between strategy and delivery. I enjoy shaping programs, supporting people, and building structures that make research and learning more accessible — especially in regional settings and interdisciplinary environments.
I’m also engaged in public history and community-facing work, including event delivery, historical organisations, and projects that connect scholarship to place-based audiences.
