Creative Practice

My creative practice explores environment, place, and material histories through illustration, painting, and print-based work. Informed by my background as an environmental historian, this work is attentive to landscapes, species, and the textures of everyday environments.

I work across commissioned and self-directed projects, alongside small-run and experimental pieces developed through Amanda Wells Studio.

Amanda Wells Studio

This practice sits alongside my research and higher education work, offering a material and visual way of thinking through similar questions of place, environment, and care. It draws on illustration, archival sensibilities, and slow, attentive making.
